by Stephan Post, General Manager Hotel Monasterio and Palacio Nazarenas
While all the construction work is going ahead on the Palacio Nazarenas building, we’re looking at ways to make the service match the surroundings. This is no ordinary hotel and so we want to offer something very special for our guests.
As soon as anyone makes a booking we’ll offer them direct access to their personal concierge. They’ll be able to ask questions and arrange visits in advance. Our aim will be to put everything in place so that when they arrive all they have to do is relax.

A dedicated team of staff will help guests discover Cuzco
A butler will meet them at the airport and be on call round the clock during their stay. He or she will be at the ready to make coffee on the in-suite espresso machine or recommend local music (no pan pipes, we promise, unless specifically requested!) to listen to on the Bose sound system. Everyone will receive an iPad for use throughout their stay, preloaded with information that matches their interests.
When they leave, that’s not the end of the story. We know that once someone’s visited a place they often have more questions than when they arrived. So their concierge will still be available to answer more in-depth queries and to keep them in touch with Cuzco once they’re back home.
